If you read the 2009 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, you know that 93% of those surveyed rated responsiveness as very important—even above knowledge of the real estate market. Just about everyone likes being served quickly: aren't you happier with your service when you get your latte right away? Won't you come back to that cafe again?
When it comes to your real estate business, map out some goals around responsiveness. Hard, concrete goals that you can measure. And then stick to them.
